While many Humboldt denizens were still at home prepping for their annual post-Thanksgiving shopping sprees, dozens of protesters braved the chill of Friday morning for a peaceful gathering in front of the Bayshore Mall to show their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Carrying signs reading “FREE PALESTINE,” “NO ONE’S FREE UNTIL WE ALL ARE,” and “END THE OCCUPATION” among other sentiments, the group kept their actions confined to the sidewalk along Broadway as motorists whizzed by delivering occasional supportive honks.
