Deborah Sue Stout (Debbie), born April 10, 1954, passed away peacefully the morning of September 21, 2023.

Debbie was born in Missouri and later moved to Arcata, California, with her family. She attended and graduated from Arcata High School, and later married and started her family.

Debbie loved going to see live music with her friends and family. She also enjoyed visiting the casino with her stepfather. Debbie had a huge heart and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Carpenter; son Stephen Carpenter; stepfather Leslie Desadier; sister Crystal Desadier (Jeff Lowery); nephews Kasey Desadier (Brandi Reynolds, Remi and Kaiser), Michael Rankin Jr.; David Crosby Jr. (Kendal); niece Trisha Rankin (Natalie Bates, Joseph Bates, Brayden Van de Wyngard); her uncle Larry Stone; and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Virgina Desadier; father, George Stout; sisters Cathy Severtsen and Sherrie Crosby; and grandparents Carl and Mini Stone.

There will be a celebration at Redwood Park on October 21, 2023 at noon. All are welcome to attend.
