Press release from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force:
On August 11th, 2026, Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on Gabriel Zachariah Giraud (age 51), and his associated residence located in the 700 block of Sea Avenue in Eureka. Over the past year and a half, HCDTF has received information, served search warrants and arrested Giraud for selling large quantities of fentanyl in Humboldt County.
Upon HCDTF’s arrival, Agents located 1.5 ounces of fentanyl, packaging materials, scales, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. Giraud was not present at the location.
At the time of this press release, HCDTF has seized over 2.4 pounds of fentanyl from Giraud in the past year and a half.
At the conclusion of this investigation, Giraud has an active Ramey warrant for the following charges:
HS 11351: Possession on narcotics for the purpose of sales
HS 11366.5: Operating/maintaining a drug house
PC 12022.1: Committing a felony while out on bail
