In Loving Memory of Stephanie Leanne Nichols (Sells)
March 27, 1987 to Aug. 15, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Leanne Nichols, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunty and cherished friend. Stephanie’s life was a beautiful gift to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Stephanie was born to Richard and Laura Sells on a beautiful March afternoon. She was also welcomed into this world by her brother, Jon Sells. The two were very close in age, and Jon was always her protector. Their bond was one of love, loyalty and family and that connection remained special throughout their lives.

Stephanie brought so much joy to everyone around her. There was never a hungry belly or a weary heart in her presence. Sharing good food and watching everyone enjoy it, gathering with friends and family, and making others feel loved were among her greatest pleasures. She was an amazing cook and a devoted wife, sister, daughter, friend, aunty and animal lover. Stephanie especially loved Highland cows, and I would not have been surprised to pull up to her house and find one in her yard!

Stephanie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by Wayne Sells, her sisters Jacqueline Danielle and Tara Star Sells, her father Richard Sells, her uncle Marc Lesher, her grandmother Charlotte Lesher, her grandmother Nancy Pace, her uncle Brian Sells, her niece Emily Sells and her aunt Ida Thorton.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Jason Nichols, and her sons, Jason “Junior” and Nathanael; her brother Jon Sells, his wife Amy, their kids her nieces and nephew Harliegh, Shyniesa,Tyleea and Aiden, her mother Laura Sells and her cousins Wesly and Brandon Sells as well as their children along with many other friends and family. She also leaves behind her cherished dogs, Sara Beans, Tucker and Bailey Weewoo, as well as her kitties Rachel and Bruce who all brought her endless companionship and love.

To my beautiful princess, I will miss our late-night messages and the talks we shared before you got off work. We all loved you so very much, Stephanie. Your love, laughter, kindness and the warmth you brought into the lives of others will never be forgotten. Though our hearts ache with your absence, we will carry your memory with us every day.

East of the sun, west of the moon, until we meet again.

Rest peacefully, Stephanie. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
