Adrian leans against a 1965 Pontiac Catalina that’s been in his family (and Eureka) since ‘65, when his great-uncle bought it new. He’s also the winner of last night’s Poker Run.

The Catalina hosts a subwoofer and red fuzzy dice.

Adrian guesses this car ranks among the longest in Friday’s showing, at 19 feet.

I almost immediately offended Guerra by wrongly identifying it as a (near-universally hated) PT Cruiser, but he was a good sport and showed me his Chevy regardless. He will not drive it in the rain.

David Berrey’s 1971 Buick Skylark. He used to ride motorcycles, but was involved in a bad accident in 2018 that left him unable to ride. He missed the camaraderie and bought this Buick about four years back. He comes to Cruz’n Eureka every year, and likes it for the “good, clean fun.”

Keith Hodge grew up working at his great-grandfather’s Chevrolet dealership in Arcata (P.C. Sacchi Chevrolet), where he caught the bug for working with cars. This ‘65 Corvette is a frame-off restoration, in which he kept the original Nassau Blue color.

Hodge, who restores Corvettes to the National Corvette Restorers Society’s standards, added a license plate frame from grandpa’s dealership.
