Hoopa Valley firefighters are responding to a small fire along Pine Creek Road near Bald Hill. As of this writing, the “Davis Fire 2” has burned roughly 2.5 acres.

We’re currently responding to a fire that has burned approximately 2.5 acres. Preliminary investigations suggest that this fire may be human-caused. Our dedicated crews are on the ground laying hose lines to contain the flames and prevent further spread.
In addition, air resources, including air attack and tankers, are en route to assist in controlling the situation.
