Angel Marie Whittington, lovingly known as Blake, was born on September 28, 2003. Blake passed away far too soon in an automobile accident while traveling to Oregon.
Blake was a kind, adventurous and caring person who brought joy to those fortunate enough to know him. He had a generous heart, a love for life and a spirit that touched the lives of family and friends. Blake was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Blake graduated from Blue Lake Union Elementary School and later attended Six Rivers Charter School. Throughout his life, he created many memories with those he loved and will be remembered for his compassion, adventurous nature and the happiness he brought to others.
Blake is survived by his brothers, Richard Waggoner and Steven Jackson Waggoner; his beloved Nana, Ellie Waggoner; and his Pops, David Waggoner. His family and friends will forever cherish the love, laughter, and memories he shared with them.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Ayers. For additional information, please contact Richard Waggoner at (707) 273-3263 or Ellie Waggoner at (707) 442-8038 or David Waggoner at (707) 719-2205.

Angel Marie Whittington was born on Sept. 28, 2003.
She passed away on July 23, 2026 in a horrific car accident.
She was a beautiful person with a great personality and made lots of friends growing up both in Eureka and Arcata.
She was 22 years old and way too young when this horrible accident occurred and is survived by her fiance, two older brothers — Richard Waggoner & Steven Jackson-Waggoner — as well as her great-grandmother Ellie Waggoner, her great-grandfather David Waggoner, as well as several other family members and friends.
She also went by Blake Whittington and she was the best friend to many people growing up as well as to her friends that live up in Hoopa.
I would hope that each and every one of her close friends are able to get a hold of her mother to be able to join in a memorial ceremony for Angel Whittington/Blake Whittington.
I hope that each of you are able to mourn and be there through this hard time of life where she would really love to have you be able to except the accident and be there for the family and friends that will always love, appreciate everything that she’s done for herself and each of her family members friends as well!
Feel free to contact his mother, Jennifer Whittington, at (707) 616-7383.
