Press release from Environmental Remedies:

This week, Environmental Remedies and Mayfield Environmental began segregation of fire debris for waste profiling and characterization. As part of this process, our teams also made every reasonable effort to identify and set aside items that tenants were attempting to retrieve before debris is transported for disposal.

We successfully removed, transported, and disposed of non-friable asbestos-containing vinyl composite tile in accordance with regulatory requirements. Additional sampling performed by a third-party CIH returned negative results for asbestos, which is excellent news for the project moving forward.

With debris now properly sorted and characterized, trucks will begin transporting material to the appropriate landfills today, tomorrow, and into next week as cleanup operations continue.

Sincerely, Matthew Bane
