Press release from the City of Fortuna:

The City of Fortuna will be performing water main upgrades on Rohnerville Road between School Street and Kenmar Road. This project will improve water system reliability and reduce future service interruptions. Work will be performed during the evening hours on Tuesday, November 10 through the morning hours on Wednesday, November 11. Water customers in the area shown below will experience reduced pressure and temporary interruptions to water service after 9:00pm on Tuesday:

Water customers in the areas of Hilltop Drive, Gulliksen Drive, Forest Hills Drive, First Street, and south of Drake Hill Road should expect to be without water service throughout the night. These areas are shown below:

Please plan ahead. We recommend storing enough water in advance for drinking, cooking, and other essential household needs. Water service will be restored by 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 11.

Residents near the intersection of Rohnerville Road and First Street should expect construction noise continuing intermittently throughout the night. Periodic traffic delays may also occur in the area. Please be cautious of work crews and vehicles and avoid the area if possible.
