Press release from Timber Ridge:

Both our Eureka and McKinleyville locations are inviting local families to stop by for some early Halloween fun on Friday, October 30, from 3:00–4:30 PM!

Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and stop by the front lobbies of either location, where residents will be waiting with big bowls of candy ready to hand out to trick-or-treaters!

This is one of the residents’ favorite times of the year! Many of the staff dress up, and the residents absolutely love seeing all the kids in their costumes. These visits mean so much to our seniors, who often continue talking about the experience long after Halloween has passed.

Two Locations:

When: Friday, October 30, 2026
Time: 3:00–4:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE!

We’d love your help spreading the word and encouraging local families to stop by! It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to enjoy some Halloween treats while bringing smiles and a little extra joy to the seniors in our community.

Thank you so much for helping us share this special event with Humboldt County!
