Elisha Ann Wilson
January
14, 1978 – September 6, 2026
Elisha Ann Wilson, beloved daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away on September 6, 2026.
Born in Eureka, Elisha lived a vibrant and storied life split between the wild landscapes of Alaska and the coastal redwoods of California. Over her 34 years in Alaska, she lived life to the fullest as both a musician and a gold miner before returning home to Orick in 2016.
A true free spirit, Elisha found her greatest peace in the outdoors, especially while paddling her kayak along Redwood Creek. She had an unmeasurable love for all animals, with a special place in her heart for her McNab, Kanuit. Above all, Elisha was known for her immense generosity and big heart, consistently putting others before herself. Her warmth, spirit, and kindness left an unforgettable mark on everyone who crossed her path.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Delmae and Chuck Wilson of Sumter, South Carolina; her sisters, Emily of Sumter and Tiffany of Tennessee; her son, Hunter; her cherished grandchildren, Harper and Harlow; and her longtime partner, Dennis Stewart of Orick. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Submitted with love by Dennis Stewart.
