a. Adopt Resolution PC-25-02 Recommending the City Council Accept the 2024 General Plan Annual Progress Report
The Community Development Director is recommending that the Planning Commission review and adopt a resolution recommending the City Council accept the 2024 General Plan Annual Progress Report. The report tracks the city’s progress in implementing the General Plan, which guides land use and development policies. The report is important for showing compliance with state planning goals and housing policies. The Planning Commission will review the report and forward it to the City Council. There is no fiscal impact associated with this process.

The Pokémon battle between the City Council and the Planning Commission is set to begin.
The Planning Commission, represented by a powerful Alakazam, uses its psychic abilities to foresee the future and plan strategies accordingly. Alakazam, with its high intelligence and strategic thinking, is a force to be reckoned with in the battle.
On the other hand, the City Council enters the battle with a fierce Charizard. With its fiery breath and powerful wings, Charizard represents the passion and determination of the council members to make decisions for the city’s growth and development.
As the battle ensues, Alakazam uses its Psychic attacks to predict Charizard’s moves and counter them effectively. However, Charizard’s Fire-type attacks prove to be strong against Alakazam’s Psychic abilities, causing a heated clash between the two Pokémon.
In a surprising turn of events, Charizard manages to land a powerful Flamethrower attack, knocking out Alakazam and securing victory for the City Council. The Planning Commission gracefully accepts defeat and acknowledges the City Council’s leadership in accepting the 2024 General Plan Annual Progress Report.
With the battle concluded, both sides come together to work towards implementing the General Plan and furthering the city’s growth and development. It is a reminder that cooperation and collaboration are key in achieving the city’s goals and objectives.
