1. Housing Element Update: Regulatory Constraints Analysis

The Planning Commission is discussing updating the city’s Housing Element for the next eight years, which includes evaluating government constraints on housing development. They are reviewing regulations, fees, and opportunities for improving housing development. They are considering changes to zoning codes to allow for more housing in certain areas, as well as reducing development costs and getting community input on housing needs. The Commission is looking for input on these proposals to make the city more housing-friendly.
