a. Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Measure E Recommendations
The Measure E Independent Advisory Committee recommends that the City Council receive a report about their recommendations for the use of Measure E funds for the 2023-24 fiscal year. The report states that the projected amount of funds received from Measure E revenues is $1,893,000, and that the City Council has previously approved expenditures of $1,488,108 for additional positions and to cover the general fund deficit. The Committee has recommended projects to be funded from reserves, including the Police Facility Project and Street Maintenance Projects, among others. The City estimates that Measure E will have contributed over $4 million to General Fund Reserves by the end of fiscal year 2022-23. The recommendation is for the City Council to receive the report as an informational item.
