Woman Suffers Major Injuries After Jumping Out of Vehicle on Highway 101 Near Patrick’s Point

A woman was hospitalized with major injuries last night after she reportedly jumped out of a vehicle on Highway 101 near Patrick’s Point Drive.

The woman was also reportedly struck by a vehicle. However, it’s unclear based on the information available in the California Highway Patrol incident report if she was hit by the vehicle she jumped out of or if she was hit by a separate vehicle.

The Outpost reached out to the CHP this morning for more information, but a dispatcher informed us that no other details will be available until Tuesday, when a public information officer is back on duty.
