Jodi Lynn Rohweder
Jodi Lynn Rohweder was born August 17, 1972 in Port Huron, Michigan and passed away from a lengthy illness and heart condition on May 14, 2026 in Palmdale, California. She moved around as a child with her Coast Guard family and lived in other locations along with Michigan, including Santa Barbara CA, Hawaii, New Jersey, and Eureka CA where her dad retired from the Coast Guard. Jodi graduated from Eureka High School in 1990 and attended College of the Redwoods.
Jodi enjoyed raising animals and participating in the FFA in high school. Jodi was known for her big heart for animals and for sneaking animals into the house growing up. One time, the noticeable paws under her bedroom door gave her away! She had many beloved dogs, cats, rabbits, and more, growing up. Her love for animals was very clear!
Jodi’s early childhood travels led her to want to continue traveling on the open road as a big-rig truck driver. She lived in Wyoming for a while and traveled through many states during that time. Then she decided to hang up the keys to the big rig and work in a few different commissaries around the US. She ended up at the commissary at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA, where she stayed for quite some time.
Jodi will be missed for her unique sense of humor, passion for WWE, and huge heart for animals and humans.
Jodi is survived by her mother Cam Rohweder, sister Kristi Machado (Manny), sister Mandy Petty, niece Haley Petty, and nephews Cameron Petty, and Brady & Blake Machado, along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Jodi was preceded in death by her beloved Dad, Richard Rohweder, grandma “Nana” Sid Miller, grandma Jeanne Gantz, grandpa & grandma Gordon & Peggi Rohweder.
Through Jodi’s passing and choice to be an organ and tissue donor, many people will benefit and have a better quality of life because of her. In lieu of flowers, Jodi’s family encourages you to adopt from your local animal shelter, consider being an organ and tissue donor, and live life how you want to and to the fullest.
