COVID REPORT: Local Person in Their 30s Becomes County’s Ninth COVID Death; Ten New Cases Confirmed Since Friday

A Humboldt County resident in their 30s who tested positive for COVID-19 has died.
Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich expressed her sympathies to this individual’s family and friends. “To those who have been impacted by this loss, our thoughts are with you,” she said.
Ten new cases of COVID-19 have been reported since Friday, bringing to 554 the total number of confirmed cases in Humboldt County.
