Blase Bonpane Takes KMUD by Storm!
From Blase Bonpane/Oct. 1, 2026, 10:21 p.m.
Blase Bonpane, Lifetime activist, teacher and musician, who is running for Arcata City Council, rocked KMUD’s Public Affairs Show today October 1st, at 5pm.
HEAR:
Why he is so fired up about preparing Arcata to stop ICE terrorism here, moratoriums on AI and Amazon and building his “Permaculture Victory Garden” with guidance from Centro Del Pueblo instead of the water wasting, boring AF, non-carbon-sinking lawn outside Arcata City Hall.
And how being born at “La Paz”, the HQ of the United Farm Workers Union, to braceros singing “Las Mañanitas” to him was sacred to his political journey.
And much more, including opening for Green Day at Gilman Street and his fluency with the language and art of community building within ecumenical ethics.

Go: Protest Trump’s War on Our Economy and Our Neighbors all of over the world, October 17th 12-2, at the Eureka Court House!
Peace.
