EUREKA, CA (April 5, 2022) –The Humboldt & Del Norte Central Labor Council has voted overwhelmingly to endorse Natalie Arroyo for Humboldt County 4th District Supervisor. Natalie, a 2-term Eureka City Councilmember, will bring proven experience and leadership in advocating for workers and their families to the board of Supervisors. The Labor Council represents 20 unions and over 5000 workers and their families living in Humboldt County and we enthusiastically urge residents to vote for Natalie Arroyo for Humboldt County District 4 Supervisor.
“Since we first endorsed Natalie Arroyo 8 years ago for the Eureka City Council, we have seen her develop into a leading voice for Eureka and the surrounding community.” said Labor Council President John Frahm, “Natalie has demonstrated time and again that her priorities and policies are turned into positive results for working families in Humboldt County.”
“I’m honored to have the support of the Humboldt and Del Norte Counties Central Labor Council, who serve as a strong voice for workers in our community and for issues that are extremely important to people throughout our public institutions and private businesses. This endorsement shows that my values - prioritizing people, the environment, and community health - are aligned with many of the organizations that represent our workforce. I look forward to collaborating with organized labor groups to craft responsible policies and support living wage jobs in Humboldt County for many years to come.”
