Dwivedi to Host Official Campaign Launch Party

ANIL DWIVEDI TO HOST OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN LAUNCH PARTY FOR MAYOR OF EUREKA
EUREKA, Calif. - August 16, 2026 - Anil Dwivedi, candidate for Mayor of Eureka, will officially launch his campaign with a community Campaign Launch Party on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The event will bring together Eureka residents, local business owners, community leaders, supporters, friends, and families for an evening focused on the future of Eureka. The public is invited to attend, meet Dwivedi, hear why he is running for mayor, learn about his priorities, and share their own ideas and concerns about the city.
“This campaign is not about me, it is about Eureka and what we can accomplish together,” Dwivedi said. “I believe our city has tremendous potential, but people are ready to see action and measurable results. I am running to bring practical solutions, accountability, and a results-driven approach to City Hall.”
Running under the message “Solutions, Not Politics” and “Leadership Through Action,” Dwivedi’s campaign is focused on addressing homelessness with compassion and accountability, improving public safety and cleanliness, repairing streets and infrastructure, revitalizing Downtown and the Bayshore Mall area, supporting local businesses, attracting new employers and retailers such as Home Depot and Trader Joe’s, creating jobs and economic opportunity, exercising fiscal responsibility, and expanding opportunities for Eureka’s families and young people.
Dwivedi points to his experience as a local business owner, property owner, housing provider, and investor in Eureka as the foundation for his approach to public service.
“I didn’t decide to run for office so I could start helping Eureka,” Dwivedi said. “I decided to run because I believe I can do even more. I want to take the same determination and problem-solving approach I have used in business and in our community and put it to work for every resident of Eureka.”
The Campaign Launch Party will also be an opportunity for residents to speak directly with Dwivedi.
“I want to hear from the people of Eureka - including those who agree with me and those who may not,” Dwivedi said. “Tell me what is working, what isn’t working, and what you want the future of our city to look like. This campaign is about listening, bringing people together, and turning good ideas into action.”
