Hoopa Valley Tribal Council Endorses Steve Madrone for 5th District Supervisor

Hoopa, CA - The Hoopa Valley Tribal Council has announced that it has endorsed Steve Madrone to represent the 5th District on the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.

“Supervisor Madrone has already served one term as the 5th District’s representative and has shown that his values align with the Hoopa Valley Tribe. The Tribal Council supports Steve Madrone because he has demonstrated a commitment to protecting the environment, water quality, and preserving the Trinity River and Klamath River ecosystems that are so vitally important to the Hupa people and the larger community,” said Joe Davis, Chairman of the Hoopa Valley Tribal Council. “We are optimistic that Supervisor Madrone will continue to support the Tribe’s restoration work on the Trinity River and will be a collaborative partner with the Tribe on a variety of issues.”
