Julie Ryan Earns Local Democrat and Labor Endorsements

The Humboldt County Democratic Central Committee & The Humboldt and Del Norte Counties Central Labor Council have endorsed Julie Ryan for Humboldt Community Services District Director.
“I am honored to be endorsed by Democrats and Central Labor Council ,” states Julie Ryan, “I grew up in a Union Democrat household and experienced the benefit of living wages, safe working conditions, and protected rights. Policies shape our lives and our votes matter. I find it hopeful that Americans overwhelmingly view unions favorably & younger generations are organizing.”
Humboldt Democrats support putting working families first, universal healthcare, affordable housing, reproductive rights, & diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Central Labor Council “advocates for social and economic justice and we strive daily to vanquish oppression and make our communities better for all people—regardless of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, or ethnic or national origin.” All labor is skilled labor and everyone deserves a living wage.
People in Humboldt County roll up their sleeves to help one another all the time. When we invest in each other, we are all safer, healthier, and able to thrive. I am proud of these endorsements, and thank you for being my community.
