Julie Ryan endorsed by the Humboldt County Democrats

I am proud to announce that I have been endorsed by the Humboldt County Democratic Central Committee. What makes life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness a goal worth pursuing? Knowing that being active in civic life inspires others.  Often we are told that our voice doesn’t matter or that our vote doesn’t count. Every voice matters. Every vote matters. You matter. 

 

 When I meet people, I always keep in mind that political party affiliation is one facet of who they are as a whole person. It is important to me to reach out and find common ground and recognize the talents and good in everyone I meet. It is also important that we hold each other to a higher standard - to be a kind  inclusive community that is safe for all members. To be a community that values natural resources, traditional ecological knowledge, and science so that we can all have clean water now and for future generations. 

 

My goal is to serve you, the ratepayers,  who live in the Humboldt Community Services District area  because you are the working families and neighbors who make this community a great place to live.
