At last week’s MMAC meeting, John Ford spoke about the difficulties of implementing an affordable housing ordinance in Humboldt County at this time. What are your thoughts regarding whether an affordable housing ordinance should be implemented, and if so, how it should be designed (e.g., what development size would trigger the affordable housing requirement, how much affordable housing would be required, what affordability level(s) would be targeted, etc.)? 

What else should the County do to promote the development of affordable housing in Humboldt?
