Hi and thank you Macktown Rez!!!  

I will bring my professional experience from the real estate and finance world to the government office of Assessor.  I believe in providing transparency into the process and education into how assessments and the resulting taxation effect everyone.  Providing great service to the public will be a top priority.  This will be achieved by cutting down assessment timeframes, modernizing operations in the office, ensuring the Assessor’s website is compliant and remains operational (as it is currently non-ADA compliant and could be taken offline at any time), fixing the existing issues identified by the Board of Equalization and ultimately being accountable to the public as I work hard to earn your support for another run in 4 years to continue my work.

I have 23 years of experience working within the Humboldt County Assessor’s Office.

Endorsed by the current Assessor.

I have worked with thousands of taxpayers, in various ways, over the past 23 years. 

I have the respect and support of the people within the Assessor’s Office as well as other government and private entities that work closely with this office.

I understand the complexity of the Assessor’s Office and that 90% of what the Assessor’s Office does is mandated by the California Revenue Taxation Code. 

Great question and thank you for the opportunity to allow me to share why I am the most qualified candidate for the next Assessor of Humboldt County.
