Hi Mitchell

 I will absolutely make the effort to meet you. In fact, my goal is to meet as many people who live in Ward 3 as I possibly can. I’ll be going door to door, and I’ll also be at the next Arts Alive in Old Town and other community events.

 I genuinely want to know what you have to say about our neighborhood, our local government, and the city as a whole. I want to hear what you think is working, what isn’t, and what you would like to see change.

Most importantly, I want to know how I can best serve you and the residents of our city. You can also reach me through my campaign Facebook page, Janelle Jackson for Eureka City Council. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you.

Why should you vote for me? Because I care deeply about Eureka and the people who live here, and I’m willing to put in the work. I will be a Council Member who listens and sees conflict as an opportunity to find common ground, rather than something that divides us. I will bring a fresh perspective, ask difficult questions, and challenge decisions when I believe they are not in the best interest of our community. I’ll approach problems with common sense and focus on practical solutions to resolve them.
