Your plan to end all sanctuary city policies in Eureka

In your last town hall, you said you will be ending all sanctuary city polices in Eureka immediately. You claim this will save the city millions of dollars. How will you enact this policy shift?

I firmly believe in respecting and upholding the law of the land, including the United States Constitution and applicable federal and California state laws.

If any City of Eureka policy conflicts with Federal and state laws, I believe it should be carefully reviewed and, when necessary, revised to ensure legal compliance.

As Mayor, my responsibility would be to uphold the law, protect the rights of all residents, and ensure that city policies are lawful, fair, and consistent with our constitutional principles.

No city policy should be above the law.
