Your take on kindness…

Hi Kim,

I asked the following question of one of your competitors the other day:

“I have read every press release, question answered here on loco, watched your debate responses, and your spam text messages. I feel that you have a grudge against the community that you chose to live in and that everything you are saying is to tear down people that have worked hard to make Eureka a better place to live.

Several years ago someone told me that if you are going to play in the political arena you have to be able to say nice things about the people you work with, even if you don’t agree with them. Can you give three examples each of the good you see in our current mayor and the current city council members? Please call them by name and list their positives individually.“

You are known as Kimberly Kindness in some circles and have shown an amazing effort in caring for everyone in our community. I have joked with my wife that you are annoyingly kind, when I want to be grumpy and mean you respond with kindness.

For fairness can you answer the same question, can you share three positives you see about each council member? I am sure this will be two easy for you to do, I will work harder on a tougher question in the future.
