Eureka Vehicle Pursuit: EPD was briefly in pursuit of a vehicle that fled from a traffic stop. The vehicle crashed at 13th and West and the driver and passenger fled on foot. One suspect has been detained, the other is still outstanding

Arcata Airport Medical Standby: A commercial flight into Arcata is reporting a medical emergency onboard. Arcata Fire and Arcata Ambulance are enroute to the airport for standby. The flight should land around 13:00. Flight Radar shows the aircraft just north of Sacramento at the moment

A passenger from the suspect vehicle is detained at the crash scene. 2 Civilians are reported to be injured from the crash. No officers were involved in that collision but the suspect vehicle reportedly struck 2 EPD vehicles multiple times. EPD and HCSO are running a roll call to confirm that
no officers are injured

Officers are still searching for the suspect. Medical is being requested code 3 for injuries at the crash scene. Unknown if the suspect was shot, but he is reported to be running from the scene
