Arcata Fire is making an offense attack on the structure fire. One occupant is unaccounted for (it seems to be unknown if they are actually home). A code 3 ambulance has been requested as a precaution. APD is searching for the possible resident’s phone number based on the vehicle registration from a vehicle at the residence. Neighbors state that if the vehicle is present, the occupant is likely home. Blue Lake fire is unable to staff and will not be responding

Samoa Fire being requested for additional response to the structure fire. First unit at scene will be “Spruce IC” with tactics on Arcata Tac, Command on North Bay Command (this seems to be a new channel, but I do not know the frequency)

Arcata Residential Structure Fire: 4900 block of Spruce Way, cross of Poplar Dr., report of fire in a kitchen; For Arcata Fire all call, Westhaven Fire, Blue Lake Fire, Humboldt Bay Fire on order; APD on scene with smoke coming from a residence and a report of a trapped occupant with no answer at the door
