Arcata Fire has the fire knocked down and is conducting a primary search. (Thank you for the info Unofficial, that makes sense)

Arcata Fire is making an offense attack on the structure fire. One occupant is unaccounted for (it seems to be unknown if they are actually home). A code 3 ambulance has been requested as a precaution. APD is searching for the possible resident’s phone number based on the vehicle registration from a vehicle at the residence. Neighbors state that if the vehicle is present, the occupant is likely home. Blue Lake fire is unable to staff and will not be responding
