2 residents in the area of Silverado (behind Chaperal along the greenbelt) in Mckinleyville contacted 911 for a suspect breaking into their yards. I believe HCSO now has a suspect in custody. The code 33 and request for the k9 have been canceled

The patient was transported to Saint Joseph’s hospital and it sounds like HCSO is searching the greenbelt area for a possible suspect. Arcata PD has sent units to assist and a UPD unit is also responding. Fortuna’s K9 has also been requested

The police have closed down W. Washington Street in Eureka while they investigate a suspicious package. A guy at Six Rivers Solar tells the Outpost that the showed up after the package was found between their store and Don’s Rent-All.
