Found it. It’s on the south side of the river — across the river from the brewery, in other words — and behind a locked gate on private property. They’re calling it a 20’x30’ foot spot fire at the moment. One responder says that they should be able to knock it down pretty quick if they get a helicopter in there.

Some units are canceling their response to this so-called Blue Lake fire. Other units still looking for it.

Now the theory is that the fire might be at the very end of Taylor Way and south a piece, toward the river.

Still no one can find the fire by the Brewery.

Blue Lake Fire and numerous other Calfire resources are responding to report of a vegetation fire near the intersection of Hatchery Road and Taylor Way. That’s right where the Mad River Brewing Company tap room/restaurant is.
