Eureka: Suspicious circs, foot of Del Norte St, several subjects around a shopping cart yelling whether “man is alive.” EPD Responding. Another call was someone else saying to disregard the call, but EPD is continuing enroute.

Re: Pecwan fire: it’s across the Hwy from Jack Norton School, mutual aid being dispatched from Six Rivers Nat’l Forest, incident is “Norton IC”, lat/long 41°20.797’, -123°51.98’. Using CalFire radio frequencies for now.

ACV/Blimp: Blimp crew advised airport maintenance that they expect to “get out of here today” after yesterday’s weather issues. Gave no time estimate, it was more conversational than a formal notification. Goodyear & airport frequencies again added to Hum North scanner feed.. expect to hear a fair amount of other takeoff/landing messages.

Eureka: Suspicious persons, 3100 block California St, two subjs walking on top of a possibly abandoned vehicle, RP believes one was waving a handgun. EPD enroute.

Eureka: Assault w/deadly weapon suspect; St Joe’s ER reports that ADW suspect from an earlier call at McDonalds is now there with the victim; EPD responding.

[The stolen car’s license number was broadcast at time of dispatch, which is how the officer identified it when he spotted it at 4th & V]. Of the 3 subjects detained, one had no record; one is on probation for - surprise - auto theft; and the third, “Mary ~” has a warrant for petty theft. The victim is now enroute to pick up the car.
