Maintenance staff is enroute to get the sprinkler shut off, ETA about 10 minutes. Fire Dept has used a tool designed to stop the waterflow, but it’s slowing but not stopping the flow.

Arcata: Unwanted person, 1000 block F Street. Birthday party earlier this evening had shut down, but one person is back at the door demanding to be let back in again. APD enroute.

Eureka: Patrol check 1300 block G St; 2 males pacing back and forth in front of RP’s house after parking their vehicle nearby. RP states they may just be having vehicle problem. EPD enroute to see what’s up, if anything.

Orick area call, the story changes. CHP onscene investigating, and the alleged victim told them that he actually jumped out of a moving car and was not assaulted. He is now enroute to hospital by Arcata Ambulance for precautionary examination.

Eureka: Patrol check, 200 block 1st St, group throwing ball back and forth hitting vehicles. EPD responding.

Orick Area: Assault w/deadly weapon, Hwy 101 approx 5 miles north of Orick at MP 127.5. Victim was thrown out of vehicle and suspect also attempted to stab him. Arcata Amb possibly already at scene (call re “man with sore leg” came in from callbox 1270 about midnight), CHP and HCSO responding.
