EPD, CHP responding to report of a female pedestrian acting oddly on the first span of the Samoa Bridge. First she was leaning over the railing, callers say, and now she is lying on the ground.

There’s a quarter-of-an acre fire near McCann, ion the Middle Fork of the Eel River. Air and ground resources are on scene. They currently estimate that they’ll have a line around the fire soon, and should be on scene for up to three hours more. Law enforcement is being called to the scene to provide traffic control on Dyerville Loop Road.
