EPD responding to Bayshore Eureka Mall, where, it is reported, a security guard has been assaulted — possibly sprayed with an “unknown liquid.”

Most Humboldt Bay Fire units are being released from the Dollar Tree call. A couple of units staying to examine the situation.

HBF got to the Dollar Tree. A firefighter reports a “light smell” of electrical smoke, and tells everyone else they can continue to the scene Code Two — without lights and sirens. Not a pressing emergency, in other words.
