On the California Highway Patrol channel, they’re reporting that the body has been recovered.

First responders are still on the scene at the Trinity and seem to have lost sight of the body.

Sheriff’s Office is attempting to contact the Hoopa Valley Tribe to secure a boat. They’re also seeing if the Coast Guard can send a helicopter.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is responding to the Trinity River near Willow Creek on report of a body seen in the river. They’ve located the body near Big Rock, and it’s floating downstream in heavy current. They’re considering calling in air support to help track.
