CHP initiated a pursuit involving one of the high speed vehicles but terminated shortly after, likely due to unsafe speeds or driving

A group of high speed vehicles (possibly 3 or more) is traveling southbound on 101. Multiple law enforcement agencies have been moving into position to attempt to stop them. They were initially reported in the Eureka area and passed Scotia several minutes ago. Speeds at up to 120 mph
