Many resources are now working the Johnson’s fire on Bald Hills including Tanker 100, Tanker 93 and Tanker 95 which flew in from Redding. The Cal Fire air attack plane has been relieved by a contract plane that flew in from Chico. The tankers are reloading at Rohnerville. Water tenders from several local departments have been requested or are already responding

Vehicle fire with spread into the wildland reported 5 miles up Johnson’s Rd. from Bald Hills. Multiple ground resources are responding and Air Attack 120 is overhead. It appears that air Tanker 93 made a drop and is returning to Rohnerville to reload. Tanker 100 is enroute to the area passing over Arcata now. Westhaven Volunteer Fire’s water tender was just requested as additional response
