Union IC reports that a primary search for occupants was all clear and they have the fire controlled

Chief 8103, 8101 and 8100 as well as all Humboldt Bay Fire resources are responding or on scene of the structure fire. An additional chief and engine have been requested to the scene from Arcata and multiple engines from surrounding departments are being requested to provide coverage of the city

Union IC requesting a second alarm to the structure fire. 3 additional engines are responding, Union IC is also requesting an EPD supervisor respond to the command post

Eureka Structure Fire: 2100 block of Union. Humboldt Bay Fire on scene reporting smoke showing and a possible working attic fire.
This appears to be in close proximity to, or at the location where the reported homicide occurred last night
