Humboldt Bay Fire Engine 8113, who responded to both major injury vehicle vs pedestrian collisions in Eureka tonight, is being dispatched back to the scene of the first vehicle vs pedestrian near Bayshore Mall for a “wash down” after EPD completed investigation. HBF volunteers and off duty EPD personnel were requested to provide coverage during the incidents

Eureka Traffic Collision: Vehicle vs Bicyclist Henderson at Broadway; EPD on scene with an unresponsive male with major injuries, CPR in progress, Fire and medical enroute code 3. Other EPD units are out with a second vehicle vs pedestrian accident that occurred about 1 hour ago near Bayshore Mall which resulted in major injuries or a fatality. HCSO, APD and CHP units are being requested to assist at the scenes and cover other calls in the city
