At 8:34 p.m., Arcata Police Department received a VEHICLE BURGLARY call for 1500 BLOCK OF Block of LENA AVE. Link here.

Fire is controlled at the Greenwood incident but the IC reports that extensive mop up is required

Greenwood IC reports that they have a single story garage well involved in fire. The fire has not extended into the residence and a primary search of the residence is all clear. 8114 reports that they need water tender 8163’s water. 8163 is arriving at scene now.

Engine 8115 is on scene with a working fire in a two story residential structure with smoke from the house and garage. 8115 laid a supply line from the end of the driveway, passing command and setting up for fire attack. Engine 8114 is also at scene and will be supplying water to 8115 and setting up for a search of the structure. Battalion 8103 is at scene and assuming Greenwood IC. 8115 is assigned fire attack. Engine 8114 captain will be water supply officer. Engine 8112 also arriving at scene

Kneeland Fire is requesting a second page from Cal Fire for the Greenwood Heights structure fire as they believe it may be in their district

Eureka Structure Fire: 2900 block Greenwood Heights in the Freshwater area; The rear of the residence is reported to be on fire and extending to a garage. The RP reports that all occupants have evacuated but a cat may be trapped in the residence. The resident is attempting to extinguish the fire. Humboldt Bay Fire is responding with a full structure response including their water tender and is requesting that a mutual aid water tender be requested through Cal Fire dispatch (due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area). Kneeland Fire will be filling the water tender request.
