Going Down @ 11:23 a.m.
In advance of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ surprise Hoopa Valley High School show today, the Outpost has received some ribald memorabilia from the last time the group played Humboldt — exactly 33 years and one month ago to the day.
Mateel Community Center general manager Shiloh Croybaker sends in the following concert poster signed by the boys way back in 1989 when they played down in SoHum
“This hangs on our wall here at the Mateel,” Croybaker writes. “God I wish we could get them to do a community show here.”
