The Fortuna Police Department is aware of the Snapchat school threat circulating social media. We are in active communication with school officials and are actively investigating.

As part of LoCO’s continuing quest to let you know anytime Humboldt is mentioned out in the wider world, we must note that Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman and recent Hoopa guest Anthony Kiedis is today’s guest on the Joe Rogan Experience, by all accounts the most-listened to podcast on this planet. 

At one point during their three-hour discussion, Rogan and Kiedis veered onto the topic of cultural appropriation, which prompted Kiedis to bring up a unique little show he’d played last week in an isolated part of Northern California. You can hear the exchange in the clip below.
