Hoopa Vehicle Pursuit Crash Update: The vehicle involved is reported stolen out of Trinity County, and the driver, who I will not be identifying by name at this time, has significant criminal history including at least one fairly high profile case that was covered live here (it sounds like he is out on CDC parole from that conviction). Medical is on scene and has completed extrication of the driver. The passenger is detained. Both lanes of Tish Tang Road are blocked. Avoid the area.

Hoopa Vehicle Pursuit w/ Crash: HCSO attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 96 near the Hoopa Shopping Center. The vehicle fled southbound on Tish Tang Rd. and crashed almost immediately. Deputies have 2 at gunpoint. Medical is staging.
