Freshwater: correction it’s Engine 8115 (E8215 is Arcata Fire); they have a large, deep-seated slash pile fire in the 2800 block of Polecat Ridge Lane, which they’ll attempt to extinguish. [COMMENT: a “still alarm” is when someone comes to a fire station to report an emergency, or calls the station’s direct line rather than calling dispatch or 9-1-1. Much less common now than before cellphones became common]
