Bayside area: Medical Aid 700 block Bayside Road, 28-yr-old male, difficulty breathing. AFPD and Arcata Amb responding

Eureka: Patrol check 1300 block G St; 2 males pacing back and forth in front of RP’s house after parking their vehicle nearby. RP states they may just be having vehicle problem. EPD enroute to see what’s up, if anything.

Orick area call, the story changes. CHP onscene investigating, and the alleged victim told them that he actually jumped out of a moving car and was not assaulted. He is now enroute to hospital by Arcata Ambulance for precautionary examination.

Eureka: Patrol check, 200 block 1st St, group throwing ball back and forth hitting vehicles. EPD responding.

Orick Area: Assault w/deadly weapon, Hwy 101 approx 5 miles north of Orick at MP 127.5. Victim was thrown out of vehicle and suspect also attempted to stab him. Arcata Amb possibly already at scene (call re “man with sore leg” came in from callbox 1270 about midnight), CHP and HCSO responding.

Fortuna PD reports no injuries, two-vehicle collision is on the overpass, cancel ambulance; need traffic blocked at 12th St at Clendenen’s and at 12th St south of the overpass. Tow service being requested, will need flatbeds for both vehicles

Eureka: Hit & Run report, 1000 block 4th Street. EPD responding.

Fortuna: Traffic collision, unknown injuries, US 101 @ 12th Street, possibly on the overpass but reported as NOT on the highway, numerous 9-1-1 calls coming in. Fortuna Fire, PD, and ambulance responding.

Rio Dell Medical: 400 block 3rd Avenue, female w/possible stroke. RDFD and Fortuna Amb responding.

McKinleyville, HCSO attempted a bicycle stop, Hiller & Central… he fled into the woods behind Coast Central off Hiller. Unit enroute to help look for him

Rio Dell: Medical Aid, possible cardiac arrest, 900 block Riverside, Rio Dell FD and Fortuna Ambulance responding, “silent approach requested” (no sirens).

EPD ofcr reports that possible victim is in front of Econo Lodge, walking toward 5th Street, may have injuries, another ofcr is checking him, on 5th near R.

Eureka: 415 physical, McDonalds, 1700 block 4th St, unk person knocked RP down then attacked another person “nearly severing his finger,” susp then left w/bound. EPD rolling

EPD ofcrs checked the area around the 1700 block of 4th street, but were unable to locate anyone appearing to have been involved.

Eureka: 415 physical, 1700 block 4th St. in front of gas station, 2 white males were hitting a female, no weapons seen. EPD on the way.

Arcata: APD unit req ambulance Code 2 to US Bank, man is extremely intoxicated and bleeding from his face.

Eureka: Info broadcast, 9-1-1 call received from area of 1100 block East St, dispatcher could hear faint shuffling sound and a man talking in background.

Arcata: Man down on s/side of US Bank 900 block G St, possibly bleeding; advise if medical needed. APD responding

Fernbridge: Subj(s) throwing rocks at passers-by, somewhere along Fernbridge Dr between Fernbridge & Loleta, NFI. CHP responding

Eureka: 700 block 7th St, unknown male entered the residence, saying someone trying to kill him, wouldn’t leave until RP brandished a firearm at him; man then left. EPD responding…. one now on scene
