[As I understand it, the “Catch 22” here is probably that they can’t generally force detainees to go anywhere until/unless they are formally under arrest, and the deputies presumably don’t yet have probable cause to arrest them]. And the next nearest officer may still be miles away.

RPs can’t come to the deputies’ location… they are stiil holding the 4th suspect AT the gas station, but they gave the descriptions of susps who left, to which the deputy replied “we have them detained”

Unit reports “Code 4, three being detained” but “not in custody” [not under arrest yet], requesting RP be called to come to scene [presumably to ID them and report what happened].

Dispatch just asked unit for a status check… he replied with a rushed-sounding “!0-6” [as in “hang on, I’m REALLY busy at the moment”]

Citizen advises deputy the vehicle is a red Honda fled n/b on 96…. unit has vehicle in sight, attempting a stop near the Willow motel…

Now it appears per RP that the SUSPECT(s) are being held down at the rear of the station… Deputies in the area… unable to locate anything yet

Willow Creek: 211 (robbery) in progress at the Chevron Station, appears that someone is being held down… attempting to get more details. HCSO responding

Eureka: Possible burglary or attempt, 1600 block 3rd St; RP, who is whispering and difficult to understand, heard someone on her porch, and it sounded like he went to the roof and possibly broke a window. EPD responding

Eureka: Possible 415 fight outside Winco, three subjects, one poss has a lug wrench, last seen n/bound on Spring St, no further description. EPD unit at scene, more responding
