Willow Creek: Battery just occurred at billiard hall on Hwy 299, two men jumped another man and possibly a woman, fled toward Hoopa in a large white truck, possibly a Dodge. Male victim has injuries but declining medical aid. HCSO units just spotted possible vehicle and have it pulled over on 96 n/of Willow Creek

Eureka: 2200 block 4th Street, man came into hotel lobby asking desk clerk to call HCSO regarding a stabbing which apparently occurred in Sheriff’s area, but would give no more details. Deputy now at scene.

Eureka: 200 block E Street. disturbance, unwanted male refusing to leave the residence; now outside, wearing no shirt; caller’s husband has sprayed him with a hose. EPD responding.

Hoopa: Disturbance at laundromat on Big Hill Rd, man running around yelling, frightening other customers; [it’s a 24-hour place]; he has some sort of strap across his back, caller thinks could be a firearm. HCSO responding

McKinleyville: Possible structure fire 1400 block Reasor; resident has a emergency alarm and has set it off several times in the recent past reporting, as now, “smoke in the area.” AFPD engine responding.

OK, “pursuit” starting over and announced at the beginning that it was a drill. It could be a drill for the DISPATCHER, as there is little if any background noise from the officer.

Unknown if that was an actual pursuit or a training/drill scenario; It was carried on Ch 3 rather than the dispatch channel, away from heavily traveled streets, no other units came on the air to assist, officer’s voice noticeably calm, and background sounds were unremarkable (no siren, squaaling tires, etc). He terminated the “pursuit’ immediately after dispatcher advised him that there was an injury accident on Myrtle Ave.

200 block G Street, attempted robbery just occurred; suspect demanded all the money but when told there was a camera he left, running eastbound on 2nd St. White male, mid 30s, 5‘6”, medium build, wearing a beanie. No weapon seen. EPD on the way

Woman in Hoopa whose tires were recently slashed has spotted suspect’s car at Ray’s with her stolen reflector inside. When susp saw her he took off running. She’ll be waiting by the guy’s car.

2200 block Spring, two women going door-to-door claiming they work for PG&E, inquiring about residents’ electric bills, but then say they work for another company. Second such report in the area in last hour or two. EPD going to check.
