An air ambulance is also responding to the Kane incident. A Cal Fire unit (possibly a dozer) is advising that the conditions at the Red Schoolhouse near Stone Lagoon are not suitable for the landing and they will need to locate a new LZ. Extrication is in progress on scene

A 66 year old male is now calling for an ambulance from the bus stop (literally) in front of the Mad River Hospital emergency room for a fall. City Ambulance dispatch will likely need to start a unit from south of Eureka while also activating the MCI for the traffic collision

3 ambulances are now enroute to the Kane Ridge Rd call. This will be the Kane incident. Arcata Ambulance activating the MCI plan and
requesting hospitals be notified

eported as possibly 2 vehicles head on. A second ambulance has been requested code 3 due to a large number of patients. Off duty CHP on scene reports 4 adults and 4 children injured with possible need for extrication
